I think the 2009 Binibining Pilipinas is a very exciting year of this beauty pageant. Because it includes top and known personalities. Like the Star Struck alumna Richell Angalot. The 2007 second runner up Abigail Cruz, now a girlfriend of Paulo Bediones. The beautiful Maria Paul Bianca a girl friend of Polo Ravales.

They all are gorgeous, but the GMA feature of the Binibining Pilipinas candidates is somewhat biased. They only focused all the limelight on their Kapuso talents like Rich and Paula and isolated all the others. It's a shameless plug, and it's too early in the ball game to have a predetermined set of winners. Good luck to all the candidates!
well ur right there... apparently they're not aloud to talk to public but then again on their first introduction, 4 famous candidates being interviewed by gma .How about the rest of them? I think before entering any compitition you should find out if there is someone like celebrity or candidates with a famous boyfriend in that compitition because you only wasting ur time. you definitely will not have a chance to get noticed.
im just sad about the way tv stations introduce the candidates of bb pilipinas 09. they are featuring them in a biased way.. why do they have to flaunt few names? just bec they are connected to some personalities? please.. a little respect for the other candidates.. -nicole d.
Well, well, well..I am not really surprised about the comments posted in this website. It only shows how shallow and pathetic the intellect of most our television broadcasters. Of course they are biased and are trying to "plug" their candidates. Actually the candidates they are plugging are so ugly at punung ng puno ng "retoke" ang mga mukha ng mga candidata nila..ano ba yan..labanan ba ng "plastic surgery"? Omigosh...may mga silicon pa yata yung mga bust and of course may mga "botox" ang mga mukha...ang papangit talaga!! Why don't you just enter them in the "Miss Ugly Duckling Philippines contest" Ha ha ha ha.
i totally agrre with the comments below... for instance, abby was the last candidate featured in the commercial, why the heck abby will be the 24th contestant? To gain attention?
